In addition, 6 ordained pastors work in the conference office as administrators and departmental directors plus eight other workers as supporting staff.

We operate 6 schools which involve 38 workers.

Mission

The purpose of the Oklahoma Conference is to facilitate the proclamation of the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12 to all peoples leading them to accept Jesus as personal Savior and to unite with His church, and nurturing them in preparation for His soon return.

"And this gospel of the  kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and  then the end will come."  -- Jesus.  Matthew 24:14.

The Conference Secretary

 

The secretary, associated with the president as an executive officer, shall serve under the direction of the executive committee and shall act as vice-chairperson of the executive committee. The secretary shall report to the executive committee of the conference after consultation with the president. It shall be the duty of the secretary to keep the minutes of the conference constituency meetings and of the executive committee meetings, to furnish copies of these minutes to all members of the executive committee, and to the officers of the Southwestern Union Conference. The secretary is also responsible for providing information as may be requested by the president or by the executive committee; and shall perform such other duties as usually pertain to the office. From - Article VI, Sec. 1,b., Conference Bylaws.

 

The other responsibilities of the secretary may include but not limited to administrative operations; policy development, implementation, and interpretation; preparation and dissemination of committee agendas; preparation for the conference constituency meetings, and preservation of committee minutes, preparing membership statistics, maintaining camp meeting schedules, and performing other tasks that promote the mission of the Church in general. 

 

The conference secretary is the second officer of the conference and along with the president, treasurer, and any other additional persons with administrative officer status, comprise the administrative team for the organization.
